“A Break from the Storm ” No. 1 is a visual metaphor. This is a detail, up close image with brilliant highlights of color. (It looks different from a distance as in on your wall, so maybe stand a few feet away from it as you view it here.) It depicts the power of nature, humankind's vulnerability and willingness to brave the storm.
According to ancient Roman mythology, Neptune had superhuman strength , speed, and stamina and resistance to physical injury.. Surely he possesses the energy to provide a safe “Break from the Storm” and possible demise on the rocky bottom or shore of the sea.
METHOD:: Textured Acrylic Impasto, Modern Impressionism, Abstract Expressionism, Narrative, and Digital Paintography with a Twist.
