ABSTRACT USA- September Eleventh

This is a visual narrative is about destructive forces. Chaos and emerging from it, order appear together here in a metaphor for life, lived. The image symbolizes engagement-- and a return of joie de vivre.

GENERAL FUSION ART PROCESS:: Sketch for composition to canvas and/or paper, sometimes, oil pastels, sometimes acrylic paint. The result then captured as a photo and brought to create a JPEG. Finally, digital layering of the original materials.


Objective:: Narrative art with emotive content- that offers an opportunity for the viewer to interpret the story being told, and thus add to the story. (Some are inner landscapes.) Whether as a digital abstractionist, working as well on canvas and with photography to produce mixed media images, my hope is to engage the viewer.

Symbolism ::Transitions, new perceptions that evoke positive change, the embracing of an inner - symbolic-mythic- visual landscape. This piece may have a particular appeal as the visual narrative reveals that even disparate parts can work together. My thought is that visual impressions, founded on simple or more complex designs, can build on a promising tale of life on Earth.
