“Beautiful Changing Seasons”
Original photography of a forest scene viewed from the window in my studio here in Asheville, North Carolina. The soft hues of north light helped when the original photo turned to contemporary paintography art. Here the thread of interest that runs through what I paint on canvas, or on paper, or in a digital way—the beauty of nature- draws us in to the many possibilities for change with compassion.
Theme and Symbolism: In this paintography piece, the juxtaposition of color with changing light symbolizes positive change through envisioning different perspectives. Each of the images in this series bases its tale on the concept of change with compassion.
