“Good Night Santa Fe in Lavender and Gold”
From an original painting on canvas this image portrays Santa Fe, New Mexico as viewed from my lodgings one beautiful night. The ambiance, painted from memory and during my visit is brought forward in vivid color. Later the original was photographed and turned to contemporary paintography art. The original painting is now in a private collection.
Symbolism: You may notice a thread of interest that runs through what I paint on canvas, or on paper, or in a digital way- and is symbolic of the love of “the energies of life.” This visual story emphasizes The Fraught Process of Selection we—each of us-- face every day—that being the choice to look for possibility in what is around us while breathing in the deepening shadows.
