...GRACE AT HOME is another in the DOG LOVES series. This digital paintography - a portrait of my own adopted furry companion-derived in digital art from a photo I took while he rested at my feet- is about the effect of change with compassion.
I hope it delights you and other recipients- especially dog lovers.. Additionally,it may invoke a sense of an artist's support for those who rescue and adopt pets.Advocacy art.

Digital paintography: Most often these days I begin with a photo hunt. I translate the photo into digital format and look for the story or metaphor it tells. Digital manipulation creates the “terrain” when texture, patterns, repetition, and "fauve -wave" bits speak.
The juxtaposition of emphatic color with changing light symbolizes positive change. There are possibilities for understanding different perspectives.
So, this series DOG LOVES brings my digital paintography work together around the idea of Change with Compassion ... portrayed with color, metaphor, whimsy and/or humor. There’s an old Tao saying: “ The journey is the reward.” That is what I am wishing for viewers who come upon my work. Zsanan Studio Notes.
