“Josei” is figurative abstract paintography- a digital rendering from my original watercolor/acrylic painting created here in my studio in Asheville, North Carolina.
This contemporary paintography art continues the thread of interest in nature that runs through what I paint on canvas, or on paper, or in a digital way- Empowerment, and was inspired by women who are Nobel Peace Prize winners
The visual story emphasizes the fraught process of selection we—each of us-- face every day—that being the choice to acknowledge our colorful unity in diversity.
Theme and Symbolism: : In this paintography piece, the human figure represents bold caring. The juxtaposition of color symbolizes positive change through envisioning different “colors” and perspectives.
