JUST PEEKING IN ON YOU No.5 — was created right here in my studio in Asheville, North Carolina. It was published in 2020 in CIRQUE LITERARY JOURNAL along with a verse. It is part of the "JUST PEEKING IN ON YOU" collection of images created to send to family and friends during the pandemic of 2020-21.
It also asks for support of PET RESCUE.
This abstract image began as a PHOTO that emerged from a collage of items to become a digital rendering. I has been asked to create cards to send during the pandemic, and I thought cartoon-like characters might help to convey a message of caring.
This is narrative art symbolic of pure possibility and joie de vivre in an abstract expressionist/modern impressionist leap of color—even on darkest days.
