"Little Fish Big Pond"
Little Fish Big Pond began as a watercolor but soon inspired an acrylic painting on canvas . The original is now in a private collection, but this art piece has a second life as a digital rendering. The original narrative art canvas was photographed here in my studio here in Asheville, North Carolina and now is contemporary paintography.
This continues the thread of interest in nature that runs through what I paint on canvas, or on paper, or in a digital way. The visual story emphasizes the fraught process of selection we—each of us-- face every day—that being the choice to look for beauty and possibility in what is around us.
