Description
FLY OVER NAG'S HEAD BEACH, NC
From my studio in Asheville, North Carolina, USA,where I painted and digitized this abstract, it’s only a half-day’s drive to the Atlantic coast and some of the most magnetic coastal areas and beaches imaginable.
NAG'S HEAD is part of the , “BEACH TIME” series. It is based on sights and feelings I felt as I walked those very beaches.
MIXED MEDIA COLLAGE: This series is an assemblage- fusion art . My photos inspired canvases in acrylic and/or watercolors.From there unfolded a collage of my art jaunt photos expressed on canvas in a blend of colors and textures that intend to represent emotive gifts of the coastal beaches, and shapes brought together through digital rendering.
SYMBOLISM: " Fly Over Nag's Head" symbolizes a sense of joy of life, new perceptions that evoke positive change, the embracing of an inner-symbolic-mythic visual landscape. This piece may have a particular appeal as the visual narrative reveals that even disparate parts CAN work together.

HOW MY IMAGES COME TOGETHER::
Generally, you will find any number of hidden characters in my art work.
All of my fusion art and contemporary abstract images –whether impressionist or expressionist- feature many, many, many layers blended for "pasted effects" to reveal - through pattern, texture, and light- a visual narrative about life on our blue planet that welcome your interpretation.
ARTIST’S NOTE:: “These images may lead you to imaginative, emotive spaces where north and south meet east and west. A mindful philosophy and the use of technology can intersect and connect at a center to become vehicles for narratives about life on our blue planet. As we, each of us, and as a collection of living creatures face the fraught process of selection every day, may we find what is positive and possible.” ~ Zsanan
