Night Sailing Poster

NIGHT SAILING is a geometric, organic and abstract piece that came together from bits and pieces of my original artwork (canvas, photography) as a digital rendering here in my studio in Asheville, N.C.

This image attempts to provide a narrative with emotive content- an opportunity for the viewer to interpret the story being told, and thus add to the story of a possible inner landscape. Whether as a digital abstractionist, working as well on canvas and with photography to produce mixed media images, my hope is to engage the viewer.

Symbolism ::NIGHT SAILING symbolizes courage and a sense of joy of life, transitions, new perceptions that evoke positive change, the embracing of an inner - symbolic-mythic- visual landscape. This piece may have a particular appeal as the visual narrative reveals that even disparate parts can work together.
