OCEAN MYSTERIES Series No. 2-- lyrical abstraction--eclectic collage.
This seascape, inspired by my visit to the coast of North Carolina and then southward, is fusion art. It is a mixed media piece (canvas to digital rendering) -- simultaneously sparse and exciting (I hope) that arrived by my muse one day right here in my studio in Asheville, N.C., USA.
If it sparks your imagination about the place --beyond time -- where an angular abstract landscape can harmonize with the curving natural and logic meets emotion --it may evoke a place of possibility.
Although it came together in my studio in Asheville, North Carolina, it started –first, from a sketch-- then to acrylic on canvas --then, photographed and digitally rendered.
