Symbolism and Story: Oliver is meditating on the dance of life as he considers a very secure butterfly in the studio. You may imagine the cat sees beyond immediate gratification, so is symbolic of a space where neighbors and others simply get along- thus gaining a new perspective on what is most important in life. In this paintography piece, the juxtaposition of color with changing light symbolizes positive change through envisioning new and or different perspectives always considering the concept of looking carefully before you leap.
