Symbolism and Story: The window symbolizes holding space for delight and color in your life...despite the cautions of an upset. Oliver represents observation paired with curiosity.
Oliver peers out his window imagining himself to be a true night ca on the prowl- (which by the way is not what he’s all about, really) as he does often from the artist's studio. You may imagine the cat sees beyond immediate gratification, so is symbolic of a space where neighbors and others simply get along- thus gaining a new perspective on what is most important in life.
In this paintography piece, the juxtaposition of color with changing light symbolizes positive change through envisioning new and or different perspectives always considering the concept of looking carefully before you leap.
