Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. RIVER CRUISE, MOON DESCENDING is a digital rendering from the fusion of photos and acrylic work. It depicts a journey in life- one we all may share- and was created here in my studio in Asheville, N.C. As as a metaphor for life, it symbolizes engagement-- filled with opportunities always present on the horizon..
GENERAL FUSION ART PROCESS:: Sketch for composition to canvas and/or paper, sometimes, oil pastels, sometimes acrylic paint. The result then captured as a photo and brought to create a JPEG. Finally, digital layering of the original materials.
Objective:: Narrative art with emotive content- that offers an opportunity for the viewer to interpret the story being told, and thus add to the story. (Some are inner landscapes.) Whether as a digital abstractionist, working as well on canvas and with photography to produce mixed media images, my hope is to engage the viewer.
