-My Friday Harbor, WA photo was digitally painted back here in my Asheville, North Carolina studio It came together with . 100s of layers- blurred- to say that disparate elements- (the curves +sharp points) - CAN work together in a promise of wonderful things to come.
This is an abstract, mixed media image where I am working with gradients, neutral tones--purples, pinks, sepia-- geometric elements- lots of circles, angles--collaborate for a promising outcome. (social commentary)
MUCH symbolism here. you may notice female forms rising, for example.
"Don’t get tired. Don’t lose patience. There will be wins... ."
Soft, flowing lines and gradients of purple, pink, and brown create a tranquil, abstract composition. The blend of colors and horizontal layers evoke a serene and dreamlike atmosphere.
