Our luxuriously soft blankets are available in two different sizes and feature incredible artwork on the top surface. The bottom surface is white. Our 100% polyester blankets are available in two different styles: plush fleece and sherpa fleece. Plush fleece blankets are soft and fluffy on both sides, whereas sherpa blankets are smooth like a soft sweater on the artwork side (i.e. shorter threads) which provides for a sharper image. Looking for a recommendation? Go with a 60" x 80" plush fleece blanket. It's soft and luxurious on both sides... the artwork looks incredible... and the size is just right for everyone.

“Subtle Burst”
The original was painted in acrylic on a board left over from another project. I liked the results so much that I captured it with my camera. So it became photo-art of a lovely flower as viewed from the window (vaguely referred to in the image)here in my studio here in Asheville, North Carolina.
The soft hues of north light helped when the original photo turned to contemporary paintography art digital rendering and via the thread of interest that runs through what I paint on canvas, or on paper, or in a digital way.
As I worked out a series of graphics as “prompts” for a friend who was having a hard time relaxing, I came across the idea of “subtle burst” during a stroll in the garden. So the idea for this image with its curves, petals, and linear bits in a gentle color field arrived to be combined in abstract elements. And it worked.
