Original photography of the Super Blue Moon rising over the mountains on a magical evening in Asheville, N.C, as viewed through the lens of imagination- and turned into contemporary fine art with digital painting/paintography
MIXED MEDIA:: This image is a collage- inspired by my photo, sketched, painted in water/acrylic- photographed again and sent to Photoshop where it became a digital rendering in 100s of layers.
SYMBOLISM:: The use of the moon's turquoise and orange brilliance and a composition that blends geometric features with bold color this piece intends to create the unique connection ..each of us.. has with the moon.. .and a feeling of flow and freedom in tune with nature.
NOTE:: IF you look closely, you may notice Lungta the WIndhorse, SYMBOL OF STRENGTH, playing a cameo role to the gentle south in this contemporary digital fine art piece.
