Photo of an amazing time of day taken overlooking the valley from my studio here in Asheville, North Carolina. This photo continues the thread of interest in nature that runs through what I paint on canvas, or photograph. The visual story emphasizes the fraught process of selection we—each of us-- face every day—that being the choice to look for beauty and possibility in what is around us.
