TAKE ME WITH YOU came to life art here in my studio in Asheville, North Carolina, USA.
It is narrative art- where a sense of belonging speaks.

This is a digital rendering- a collage of my photos and/or drawings/paintings with a story to tell. It could be called a dreamscape or inner landscape. I like to think that it offers space for the viewer to interpret the story being told.

As a digital abstractionist, my hope is to engage the viewer. The idea that impressions- whether they be founded on simple or more complex design- can carry a narrative. Visual narratives build on an unfolding tale of everyday living.

TAKE ME WITH YOU symbolizes a sense of joy of life, transitions, new perceptions that evoke positive change, the embracing of an inner - symbolic-mythic- visual landscape. This piece may have a particular appeal as the visual narrative reveals that even disparate parts CAN work together.

Generally, you will find any number of hidden characters in my art work.

All of my fusion art and contemporary abstract images –whether impressionist or expressionist- feature many, many, many layers blended for "pasted effects" to reveal - through pattern, texture, and light- a visual narrative about life on our blue planet that welcome your interpretation.
