THE DIVE- is story art, for sure.
It came to life art here in my studio in Asheville, North Carolina, USA. This is a digital rendering from a collage of my photos and drawings/paintings- a dreamscape (inner landscape.)
I like to think that it offers space for the viewer to interpret the story being told. Geometric art can carry a narrative as it builds on an unfolding tale of everyday living.
THE DIVE symbolizes a sense of joy of life, transitions, new perceptions that evoke positive change, the embracing of an inner - symbolic-mythic- visual landscape. This piece may have a particular appeal as the visual narrative reveals that even disparate parts CAN work together.
