This tree is an example of contemporary post-painterly abstract expressionist piece art - original photography of a huge tree- recorded as a beautiful memory - converted in the studio in Asheville, North Carolina- It became paintography art via the thread of interest that runs through what I paint on canvas, or on paper, or in a digital way- nature and living things.
