Description
"WINTER PRAYER CIRCLE FOR PEACE"
is narrative art in new media mixed media format – (here, my combination of pencil, ink, paint, photo work and textured applications.) The story of "peace on Earth goodwill" unfolds in a “collage” of color and texture. It includes prayer flags from the mountains of Tibet, to figurative images of Christian and Buddhist pilgrims for peace. The image depicts the dangerous journey through icy domains that leads to the mountain peaks of a higher awareness.

Created right here in my studio in Asheville, North Carolina, it started out as a PHOTO and made its way through photo-manipulation – (and my imagination) - to tell a story of holiday blessings and love of life. Certainly, it invites your interpretation.
