This surrealistic image came to life here in my studio in Asheville, North Carolina, USA.
This is a dreamscape (inner landscape.) It is Fusion-Collage-Paintography that offers space as narrative art that explores an unfolding story of everyday living and symbolizes change with compassion.
In its creation, Fusion art may remind the viewer that disparate parts can work together. As Friedrich Nietzsche said, "In pain there is as much wisdom as in pleasure; both are the two conservative forces of the species."
Generally, my canvases (acrylic) borrow bits from my collection of photos, drawings or sketches to join in the collage, along with hidden characters. After all this comes together, I take a photo of that collage. This goes to Photoshop for digital manipulations and rendering.
