TO SKI THE STAR SLOPE
This image came together in my studio in Asheville, North Carolina. But it started well before that in a lengthy process I smilingly refer to as my "art-tech-block-and-carve technique," and was inspired by photos taken by a dear friend on a skiing holiday with her sons in Switzerland.
The process actually brings together my original art- ( pastel, acrylic and/or watercolor work)- plus photos to "arrive, “ as a *collage - having been captured via my smartphone. Thus translated, I begin the next steps. The addition of layers and layers (probably more than 100!) create the resulting JPEG into the digital rendering you see.
*Collage- inspired by nature brings together elements both abstract and true to the natural world. So, FUSION ART BY ZSANAN is ART TECH that combines my original work into a collage with my hand-carved digital rendering technique.
