"Long and Winding Road"- No. 2
Series
"The Long and Winding Road" is a digital collage and rendering- mixed media compilation that actually began as a photo I took of an interesting door! That became the inspiration for a sketch...and then, my watercolor, then acrylic on canvas painting. I took a photo again. Quite a process to arrive at what you see here from my studio in Asheville, North Carolina.

This contemporary abstract expressionist piece, part of a paintography series is inspired by in human interaction with nature and the fraught process of selection we—each of us- face daily—the choice to look for possibility even in the death of loved ones, the end of relationships and life's challenging moments.
