“Cooling Off in the Ladies’ Lounge”
Original photography - digitally-manipulated- of my own discarded (inanimate yet very lively red ) stiletto shoes to create the high-heeled sneakers-- (not very useful here in the mountains around Asheville, North Carolina)-- This is contemporary paintography art via the thread of interest that runs through what I paint on canvas, or on paper, or in a digital way--- the wry humor of life as we know it.

Fabulous contrast of title with the hot, vibrant, glowing, outrageous reds of the shoes and background. This is an exciting image that grabs the viewer in and demands him or her (better her, since it’s a Ladies’ Lounge) to step in.
