FLY OVERY CURRITUCK

From my studio in Asheville, North Carolina, USA, it’s only a half-day’s drive to the Atlantic coast and some of the most magnetic beaches imaginable. Here is an abstract series entitled, “BEACH TIME ” based on sights and feelings of those very beaches. This series is an assemblage- fusion art - a collage of art jaunt photos, the blend of colors and textures that intend to represent emotive gifts of the coastal beaches, and shapes brought together through digital rendering.

" Currituck Fly Over" symbolizes a sense of joy of life, new perceptions that evoke positive change, the embracing of an inner-symbolic-mythic visual landscape. This piece may have a particular appeal as the visual narrative reveals that even disparate parts CAN work together.
