This funky greeting card is part of a series of Funny, Fantastic and Fun explorations.
This series of graphics arrived one LATE night in my Asheville studio from an original PHOTO of flowers in the garden! I was working out a way to convey a message of compassion and solidarity where gentle humor somehow softens a life situation that is challenging.
I wondered... how can one artist reach out to provide a "light moment" in times of distress? The bold and colorful characters responded. And I had to smile out loud--as I hope the recipients of this message, whether it be as a poster, a card or a pillow (etc.) will!
