Description
Under the Umbrella” is the third photo-painting in this series on beach fun, summer fun, relaxation, renewal and caring. Each of the umbrellas and seascapes in this collection were digitally painted, but they began as photos taken while on vacation at the ocean’s shore in North Carolina.
I used vivid hues to express both the story implied and a longing for a deep breath. I wanted to create a vibrant visual impression. Those who meditate may see symbolic references here. I love the idea that art buyers (and art lovers) might choose to create a series of this digital art on a wall of relaxation from this collection.
Possibly it could be a gentle reminder of our mutual journey toward change with compassion.
