Description
2019 DUVET COVER No 1 "Cactus Flowers Stone Washed and January Radiant"
"Cactus Flowers Stone Washed and January Radiant" . happy abstract expressionist, hand-drawn “cactus flower” pattern forms a minimalist all-over feeling of good fortune - of which the cactus flower is a symbol- while contemporaneously conveying a relaxed personality. It is soft and silky microfiber and is the first in textile designer, ZsaNan’s 2019 line duvet covers.
THIS first design of the series especially created for textile-and for duvet covers in particular by the artist, Zsanan for 2019 brings with it the idea of giving your bedroom an unique flare. You will appreciate the soft texture of the microfibre fabric, too. These duvet covers portray a geometric flare with curvilinear lines of the cactus flower enhancing the work.

Your Story of Art
What's NEW
THANK YOU.
Symbolism: This is bedroom art where the theme of the Hopi Cactus Rose, a symbol of warmth, protection and endurance, is carried throughout. The design for this limited edition also references solidarity with Earth and Mother Nature. The juxtaposition of color with changing light symbolizes positive change through envisioning different perspectives. The theme of the images in this series bases is change with compassion.
The Story: These designs originated as photography of a cactus flower as viewed from Georgia O’Keefe’s compound and museum in Abiquiu, New Mexico. Soon they became contemporary paintography art via the thread of interest that runs through what Zsanan paints on canvas, or on paper, or in a digital way. Here the appreciation of O’Keeffe and her work in the southwest USA also pays respect to cultural elements-- to First Nations, Hopi and to the great Zuni stories.
