“007 Cat Under Coverst”
“007 Cat” is digital paintography. This piece began as a photo I took of my rescued cat just hanging out under the sofa right here in my cabin in Asheville, North Carolina. When I raised quilt that covers it, I found it also covered my furry friend. He sure looked surprised...and a bit annoyed. I had to laugh , heartily!
That look provides the visual sense and impetus for this piece and a story that emphasizes the fraught process of selection we—each of us-- face every day—that being the choice to look for delightful, humorous moments in everyday happenings.
