“Road Trip for Cats”
"I had to laugh out loud when I saw this," one viewer told me. I'm not sure if that was your reaction to this bit of humor, but if you are a cat lover, “Road Trip for Cats” may make you smile. ...and that's the point.
It is digital work from a collection/collage of my photos and sketches as inspired by my studio cat here in Asheville, North Carolina. It is art in a “pop culture” frame of mind and is for kids of all ages!~
As an old schoolteacher with a love for “Show and Tell” and a storyteller myself, I turn digital paintography to depict the imagined response of the family cat when faced with a road trip . Look for others in this series , each digitally painted, many inspired by photos of campers, vans, old cars, dogs and cats. I used very bright hues focusing on family fun and “energies” to create a collection and remind us all of the healing powers of good humor.
