"Harvest Joy- Two Cats' Afternoon Meditation on a Giant Flower"

Original photography of a flower in a vase. But notice,two cats sit regarding it. You may imagine the cats as SYMBOLIC of an awareness and curiosity that is " beyond this time or place" as they seek perspective.

This paintography once viewed from my cabin in Asheville, North Carolina -now is turned to contemporary mixed media art via the thread of interest that runs through what I paint on canvas, or on paper, or in a digital way. The visual story emphasizes the fraught process of selection we each face every day -that is to observe, carefully.
